Stephan Burke

STEPHAN BURKE is a well-known industry veteran and cryptocurrency pioneer with more than 23 years of experience in South Florida real estate. With an unprecedented way of doing business, he empowers his clients to sell to a wider spectrum of buyers through Bitcoin. In 2017, Stephan and his business partner, Carol Cassis, made history with their first wallet-to-wallet real estate transaction. Since then, his team holds the record of highest-priced property sale in Bitcoin — for $6,050,000 in Miami. Earlier this year, his team sold the highest-priced, single-family home for $19,750,000. Throughout his career, Stephan has garnered recognition from the “Who’s Who of Residential Real Estate” in 2018 and 2015, and also as a proud member of the prestigious Master Brokers Forum (MBF), an elite group of South Florida’s top residential real estate brokers. As co-founder of Cassis Burke Collection at Brown Harris Stevens, he has won the Better Beach Real Estate Awards’ “Most Innovative Method of Marketing” by the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce. An industry thought leader, Stephan has been featured in Curbed, The Real Deal, VICE, South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Miami Agent, and Realtor.com. Stephan, a former resident of the esteemed Fisher Island community, grew up among vineyards at his family’s chateau in Margaux, Bordeaux, France. An avid world traveler, he had been to more than 70 countries before moving to Miami at the age of 16. Educated in Miami, Stephan then started his real estate career there in 1995. Previously, he modeled professionally for magazines and was involved in the Emmy Award-winning “Miami Vice” television series as a stand-in actor. To maintain and strengthen relationships with clients in New York City, Monaco, Paris, London, and Los Angeles, he often flies to his clients’ city of preference in order to win their business, while they benefit from Stephan’s local expertise in the real estate market. For Stephan, “the biggest change in Miami has been the people and the diversity of cultures. Miami is not a city, it’s a country.” For him, Miami’s direct connection to international cities, such as London, Paris, New York, and Dubai, is what’s driving desirability and demand to live in South Florida. Stephan’s expertise in real estate comes from an intimate knowledge of the area, with a worldly approach he gained from traveling all around the globe. He advises visitors and locals to take “a walk down to the South Pointe pier while watching the sunset melt over the cruise ships heading to the exotic islands.”
